Reece Domingue has 20 years of dance training in various styles and is a graduate of Denton Ballet Academy. She is currently pursuing an integrated B.S./M.S. degree in accounting and is minoring in dance at the University of North Texas. She previously served as Director of the North Texas Emeralds dance team, and she continues to both train and perform. During her time as a student at DBA, Reece was accepted into multiple prestigious ballet intensives and training programs, including Joffrey, Gelsey Kirkland, Bolshoi, and Kirov, and she twice competed at YAGP in both ballet and contemporary. In high school, she served as Jr. Lieutenant and then Captain of her drill team and graduated valedictorian. Both in high school and beyond, she has competed at various regional dance competitions, winning awards for solos, duets, turn technique, and choreography.
In addition, Reece is celebrating her 15th year dancing with Festival Ballet in their annual production of The Nutcracker; she has been honored to perform many featured roles in the production, including Clara, Dolls, Lead Chinese, Flower, Snow, Icicle, and Lead Spanish. Reece is thrilled to be back sharing her passion for dance with the wonderful students of DBA, and she will once again be teaching Modern, Theatre Jazz, Pre-Pointe, and Adult Ballet/Jazz for another season.
